The Commission of Culture of the National Assembly received the ministers of Culture and Coordination of Patrimony, as well as the president of the House of the Ecuadorian Culture and Tourism to do their respective remarks to the text gone out of the first debate of the plenary meeting of the Assembly. The Coordinating minister focused his remarks on interculturality and patrimony. For her, " it is fundamental that the Law of Cultures conceptualice and establishes orientations for the practice of political public and of intercultural management, which is a daily exercise of civil coexistence" and "since the juridical scaffolding of the country is weak, it is needed, in addition to creating the indispensable institutionlisation, mechanisms so that the State guarantees the safekeeping of the patrimony ". The Minister of Culture stood out " the strengthening of the local identities and nationals " as well as " the establishment of a national system of rectory of the cultural activities and the strengthening of the institutionalisation and the deepening of the system, based on two subsystems, one of creation and other of patrimony ". This system is underlined in the project of Law sent by the President. The Minister of Tourism supported that " it should always be considered to be the development of the tourist offer, in order to obtain a real impact in these activities, considering the big ancestral wealth, social memory and existing patrimony ".
